Christopher Veal
Christopher Veal is a former Marine officer and combat veteran, and a Black man with 25 years of experience in talent and leadership development. He hosts The Vulnerable Man podcast, is a TEDx speaker, and an executive coach and leadership consultant. He works with leaders to leverage vulnerability to create a deeper connection between themselves and those under their charge. He has worked with clients across the globe and from a variety of industries, including technology, government, healthcare, banking and finance, and entertainment.
He is a global influencer and speaker who specializes in helping leaders understand how healthy and unhealthy masculinity impact the workplace and our world more broadly. He is the author of The Whole Man: Evolving Masculinity and is on a quest to destigmatize the word vulnerability for men.
Christopher continues to learn how to be more vulnerable himself, finding inspiration in his amazing daughter. His new book, The Whole Man, is an examination of what it means to be a man, and how we benefit from evolving our definitions of masculinity and manhood in the 21st century.
Outside of his work he enjoys spending time with his teenage daughter and their dog, riding his motorcycle, mountain biking and hiking, listening to and playing music, traveling, and is a lifelong learner who continually seeks out new ways to expand himself. He lives to collect experiences instead of things.
