Em House
Em is a passionate advocate for people’s growth and resilience. They began helping people discover their power, interdependence, and literal paths through the wilderness during their 20s as an outdoor adventure leader. Since then, serving as a director of grassroots political campaigns, a therapist, an educator, and a reproductive healthcare worker, Em deepened their commitment to change-making through transparency, radical self-acceptance, courageous vision, and intersectional collective action.
Today, in addition to their work at The Roundtable Institute, Em works as a faculty member for the CTI Coach Training and Leadership programs, as well as a Co-Active coach and a therapist for Philadelphia’s LGBTQ+ communities. Across all professions, Em’s approach is marked by their unique blend of down-to-earth honesty, compassion, and playfulness.
Outside of work, Em is a fiercely wild being. They live close to big parkland, and whenever possible, can be found hiking around the woods with their partner, dog, and tiny human, or kicking a ball around with the local LGBTQ+ soccer team.
